STORYTELLING DESIGN FOR FILM

My graphics for film grow out of production design thinking. As both Production Designer and Graphic Artist, I’m able to work with full autonomy when needed: you send the script and, if you want, a brief — and I’ll suggest and develop a graphic language that serves the story and the characters.

Rather than simply executing layouts, I treat every graphic as part of the storytelling — shaping narrative while respecting the realities of time and budget.

My work is built on authenticity with room for artistic license — whether period, contemporary or futuristic, across countries and cultures. Some graphics are meant to be noticed; many are created to blend seamlessly into the mise-en-scène, reinforcing believability without pulling focus. Even when they pass by in a split second, they contribute to that moment when the audience decides:
this world feels real.

I come from the art department and have worked in almost every position — as well as leading teams. I think in sets, schedules and shots — not just files. The vision starts with the director and production designer; I specialise in making it real at the level of detail.

We are not there to decorate, we’re there to solve problems: what the audience believes, what the actors feel when they walk onto set, what survives the shoot day after day. Every graphic decision I make sits at that intersection: story, performance, materials and logistics.

SPECIALISED GRAPHIC ROLE.

I work end-to-end: script breakdown, visual and graphics research, concept, design, materials and print methods, communication with suppliers, and, when needed, overseeing fabrication on the ground. Because I’ve worked across props, set decoration and production design, I can connect logistics, materials and artistic intuition into solutions that are coherent, practical and fast.
